Often clients want the option of choosing their mediator.  Noah Mediation Services believes that parties should have a choice in deciding who will mediate their dispute.  Since mediators employ different models of mediation, have different levels of experience, and use different mediation styles, it makes sense that parties should have a say in deciding who would best handle their case.

However, given that there is no licensure or certification requirement for mediators, choosing a qualified mediator can be challenging.  The professional organizations listed below require that mediators meet a high level of standard in order to be included on their referral lists.  Judges can refer disputants to these websites for choosing a qualified mediator.  Laura L.
